How We Met

Two very young people

Maria and Sebastian met while working at a startup co-working space in Copenhagen. After a few years of friendship, they started dating in 2018. Since then, they’ve been inseparable.

The Journey

Adventures together

A pandemic, a hamster, a puppy, and too many pan-European road trips to count. From startups to a master’s degree, from self-employed to massive corporations, from Rømø to Nikkō Tōshōgū, from the highest mountain in Denmark to the depths of the Mediterranean. We’ve travelled, lived and grown together, learning the meaning of “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”

The Proposal

She said yes!

On the final day of our first trip to Japan, as we made our way through the largest pedestrian scramble in the world—Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo—Sebastian got down on one knee and proposed to Maria. Surrounded by the bustling energy of the city and the cheers of passers-by, she joyfully accepted, marking the beginning of our new adventure together.
